      I think almost anything can be deadly if you have too much of it!

      The human body is a very complicated system that needs the right amount of things. It is quite good at adapting if you have slightly the wrong amounts, but far too much of things (or not enough) can throw it out of balance and make you ill.

      There are lots of things that are considered deadly, but as John says its mainly about having too much of something. For example radiation, some medications, mercury and eating too much or even too little (for example as in obesity and anorexia). The list is endless really…

      My biggest fear is of snakes and some of those are pretty deadly! I always think of poisonous things when someone says “deadly” but don’t Google poisonous things, you’ll realise that some of your garden plants are very poisonous!
