      Great question. I hope to make the UK better by providing evidence to the government about what makes people healthier and how we can support families who are having problems.

      When I was working in defence we were looking at all sorts of different technologies that could help the UK armed forces, making them safer and better equipped.

      Now the work that I’m doing will feed directly into the UK automotive industry, helping to improve products, making the business more competitive internationally and hopefully keeping more jobs in the UK. The work should also help to improve engine efficiency, therefore reducing our use of fossil fuels.
