      Hi brokenhalo,

I think it would be very difficult to make a planet. Planets are made from dust that heats up for billions of years and then takes more billions of years to cool. I don’t think people have time to do that.

In the hitchhikers guide to the galaxy they convert energy from a black hole into mass to make planets – it’s a nice idea but probably impossible to do practically

Yeah I agree that it would be very difficult to make a planet and I’m not sure whether it would be a good investment of time and money. It would probably be better to invest money in improving our planet

I think you’ve sort of answered your own question there. The main difficulty in making a planet would be what to make it out of. It would need to have a lot of mass, which would have to come from somewhere, probably another planet? So it’s probably easier just to use a planet that already exists!

We might not be able to make a planet, but we’ve made the space station! It’s not a planet , but it’s kind of a moon!
