• Question: Other than the problem of the higgs boson particle, what other issues are there with the standard model of particle physics?

      Gravity and quantum mechanics can not be explained by the same models. But we are very sure that both are correct because we can correctly describe very big objects like galaxies with gravity and very small things like electrons with quantum mechanics.

      There’s an unresolved issue with neutrinos…. do they have a mass or not?!

      Physicists are looking at combining more theories together to resolve some of the issues like gravity and quantum mechanics… to have a “theory of everything*”!

      *Not a very good name is it…?!
