Well psychology can tell us what people value in life, what drives us and how the human mind works…

Biology can tell us about the origins and evolution of life…

Physics can tell us about the origins of the earth and the universe and potentially about the end of it…

But I’m not sure that any of that really answers the question? I’m not even sure whether it’s a question that science will ever be able to answer?

Philosophy and/or religion are subjects that deal with this type of question directly. Perhaps you need to ask someone to set up “I’m a Philosopher, get me out of here!”!?

      To have a dream!

That can be absolutely anything, from raising a family, to discovering an element, to meeting your life partner, to travelling.

I think it’s important to have a dream (or many dreams!) because it gives your purpose and direction (though it might change lots!)… it’s what keeps me moving forward 🙂
