I went to Hillcrest School in Birmingham and then to King Edward VI Five Ways for sixth form (1999-2001). I went to University of Wolverhampton (2004-2007) and did a Masters and a PhD at University College London

8 GCSEs, 5 A-levels, BSc(Hons) Human Biology & Health Studies, MSc Health and Society: Social Epidemiology, PhD Epidemiology (soon!)

Work History:
I have had lots of random little jobs like working in a bakery, promoting recycling for my local council, working in a care home, working on the 2011 Census but now I work at University College London

Current Job:
Research Associate at University College London – I now research how people juggle work and family responsibilities and how it affects health

My Typical Day:
I spend most of my time working on my computer using statistical computer packages analysing data whilst drinking tea

I also attend meetings with my colleagues to discuss research and seminars where people present their work via a presentation

What I'd do with the prize money:
I would organise a schools event on families and how they affect health

My favourite type of music is Mash Up but I also like Bloc Party, Ed Sheeran, Coldplay and Bach!
