Yes it is possible and Sony have been testing this already in its studios. It would be a very exciting to try it out. What sort of game do you think would be fun to try in virtual reality? I would like to try Mario Kart!

You can already buy virtual reality head gear and set up a kit to fly radio a controlled aircraft with a camera on it
And then you can see where your flying as if you where on the plane.

Just Search for FPV on You tube

      It look wicked !

They actually use virtual reality and other computer “games” quite a lot in the training of the military. It is a lot cheaper and safer to sit a soldier down in front of a computer than it is to have them flying a real plane or running around on the ground.

People are already starting to buy in to 3D tv’s and similar so I think we’ll probably see a lot more virtual reality type stuff coming out.

Another really cool thing is “augmented reality”, where you are looking at the real world, but with virtual stuff added in!

I hope so! I think I’d like to do things I can’t do in real life – like fight dinosaurs, drive cars really fast (and not have to worry about killing anyone!) and even fly 🙂
