The supercomputer definitely wins! Superbugs are horrid bacteria that make people very ill, but supercomputers are fantastic. Apart from helping me to cure superbugs they are used to design planes, buildings and cars, power most of the finicial transactions in the the developed world and use the same type of technology as an xbox or playstation.
You can use DNA for computing – instead of using a microchip to do calculations you encode the problem in DNA. And I think bacteria make all the DNA for you. But it’s probably best not to use superbugs for this because we want to reduce the amount of antibiotic resistance germs in the world!
