It means spending my time doing experiments, hopefully working out why certain things happen and what we can do in response to make the world a better place

I think it means solving a problem about why things happen (or don’t happen!) inside or around us!
Personally, being a scientist means being paid to do something I really love and being able to talk about it 🙂

It means learning about the world (and universe), how it works and how to do new and exciting stuff within it – simple as that!
